		<description><![CDATA[<p>An industry standard, the DPA 4007 reference microphone is a high-performance omnidirectional condenser mic with an extremely linear on-axis frequency response from 10 Hz to 40 kHz (±2 dB). It&#039;s a close miking specialist that can handle high sound pressure levels - up to 155 dB SPL before clipping occurs. The DPA 4007 has an unbeatable dynamic range of 124 dB from the noise floor to 1% THD (total harmonic distortion), and an extended headroom of 20 dB up to clipping level. </p>

<p>A close miking specialist, the DPA 4004 specially designed to handle extremely high sound pressure levels - up to 168dB SPL before clipping occurs. It has an unbeatable dynamic range of 124 dB from the noise floor to 1% THD, and an extended headroom of 20 dB up to clipping level.</p>
<p>While acoustically identical to the reference microphone Type 4007, the DPA 4004 differs in the powering system and the fact that it has a transformerless output. Thanks to the special hi-voltage (130 V) powering system, the 4004 can handle approximately 10 dB higher SPL than similar microphone types powered through conventional P48 systems.</p>
